WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Beginning May 3, drivers will see single-lane closures on I-39 northbound from US 10 to the Marathon County line in Portage County.
The left lane will be closed from 6 a.m. on May 3 until noon on May 5. The right lane will be closed from 6 a.m. on May 8 to noon on May 10. From May 5 at noon through May 8 at 6 a.m., all lanes will be open.
Crews intend to put grooved-in centerline and edge line pavement marking on I-39 northbound, as well as pavement marking at County DB on and off ramps.
This schedule will be subject to fair weather and construction progress.
