MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Governor Tony Evers has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff on Sunday in honor of former governor Tony Earl.
Earl was the state’s 41st governor from 1983 to 1987, and passed away back in February.

Tony Earl died at the age of 86. He was a Michigan native and US Navy veteran who had served in the state Assembly in the 1970s and was Secretary of Natural Resources from 1975 to 1980.
