MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Red Sox won their series against the Brewers following a 12-5 victory in Milwaukee.
Masataka Yoshida cranked a pair of home runs in the eighth inning including a grand slam and ended the game with six RBI. Justin Turner also went deep for Boston, which took two-of-three games in the series.
The Sox are last in the AL East at 12-and-11. Brian Anderson slugged a pair of homers for Milwaukee, which dropped to 15-and-7. The Brewers are second in the NL Central, a half-game behind the Pirates.
The Brewers play the Tigers tonight at 6:05pm. Colin Rae starts for Milwaukee opposite Matthew Boyd.
