MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Rowdy Tellez had another big game against the Red Sox. He homered for a second straight game, leading the Brewers to a 5-4 win.
He hit a two-run homer off Garrett Whitlock in the third inning Saturday and gave the Brewers an early 3-0 lead.
Christian Yelich was 2-for-4, scoring twice and adding an RBI.
Milwaukee’s Wade Miley (3-1) struck out three and allowed four hits, two runs and one walk in five innings to lower his ERA to 1.96.
The Brewers are now 15-6 this season. They wrap up their series with the Red Sox at 12:35pm on WSAU. Corbin Burnes will pitch for Milwaukee against Brayan Bello.
