MOSINEE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Students at Mosinee High School will have a part of their lunch debts forgiven thanks to a generous donation from AROW Global Corp.
The check was for just over $1,000, which was raised through AROW special event lunches such as Taco Tuesday, along with several others.
Employees at AROW say they wish the check had a couple more zeros, but are happy that this donation will make an impact in the community.
“Dozens of students. I would think (will receive help),” Superintendent of schools, David Munoz told WAOW. “Usually it’s overages. 20 dollars here, 30 dollars there. That kind of thing. So I think there will be multiple families affected in a very positive way.”
They encourage any student interested in engineering, manufacturing, or product design to look into openings on their website, and they are willing to develop and teach students, even if it’s only for summer work.
