KANSAS CITY, MO (MetroSource-WSAU) — Pro Football Focus is releasing its draft grades. The Packers received a “B-plus” after selecting edge rusher Lukas Van Ness with the 13th-overall pick.
The team took tight end Luke Musgrave and wide receiver Jayden Reed in round two. Another tight end went off the board at pick 78 while Green Bay grabbed its second edge rusher in Colby Wooden at number-116.
The team added quarterback Sean Clifford in the fifth round as the Pack made 13 selections over the seven-round draft.
Green Bay also added a number of free agents after the draft. They include two more tight ends, Cameron McDonald from Florida State and Henry Pearson from Appalachian State. They also signed safeties Benny Sapp III from Iowa State and Christian Morgan from Baylor, WRs Duece Watts from Tulane and Malik Heath from Mississippi, DT Jason Lewan from Illinois State, OT Kadeem Telfort from Alabama-Birmingham, linebacker Jimmy Phillips from SMU, guard Chuck Filiaga from Minnesota and edge rusher Keshawn Banks from San Diego State.
