Noah Syndergaard pitched just one inning after suffering a cut on his pitching hand. Justin Bruihl was credited with the win in relief.
Los Angeles improved to 22-and-15 and is still first in the NL West.
Rowdy Tellez slugged his 10th homer of the season for Milwaukee, which dropped to 20-and-16. The Brew Crew are second in the NL Central.
