MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks are prepared to “aggressively” pursue former Suns head coach Monty Williams to be their next head coach, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Other teams with interest in Williams, according to Charania, are the Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons.
Williams had a 194-115 record during his four years as Phoenix’s head coach. He led the Suns to the 2021 NBA Finals, where they were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks, and was named NBA Coach of the Year for the 2022 season.
The Bucks have also scheduled an interview with Miami Heat assistant coach Chris Quinn and former Warriors head coach Mark Jackson.
