WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Wausau residents will be able to do some late spring cleaning this weekend during the City of Wausau & Good News Project’s Clean It Up Wausau event.
Items such as old TVs, furniture, mattresses, and old electronics will be able to be brought to the city yard waste site off Chellis Street to be recycled for only $.45 a pound. Smoke detectors will also be accepted for $15.
If you are not a Wausau Resident, Good News Project will still have regular hours on Friday, May 19th, 9-4 at 1106 N. Fifth Street.
The event will begin tomorrow at 9 am and run through Saturday at 5 PM.
