Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Running back Gideon Ituka, a three-star prospect, committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday.
Ituka is a running back from Maryland who is 5’9 and weighs 230 pounds. He selected Wisconsin over Boston College and Maryland, among other colleges.
Ituka joins the Badgers’ 2024 recruiting class as the team’s first running back; this cycle, two running backs are expected to be added.

Given that Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi are anticipated to leave after the season and that the only other scholarship running backs on the roster are Cade Yacamelli, Jackson Acker, and true freshman Nate White, the Badgers were concerned about their running back depth moving forward.
Darrion Dupree, a four-star running back, has also been a target for Wisconsin, but four-star Dilin Jones has also been a name to watch as he recently had an official visit with the Badgers.
The Badgers now have the 15th-best recruiting class in the nation for 2024, and it looks as though they will break into the top ten by the time the recruiting period ends.
