WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – For Wausau West resident Brady Cleveland, another wish has come true.

Cleveland, who is 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, is large for a defenseman. Commonly expected to be selected in the third round, Cleveland instead went 47th overall.
He was one of the team’s top defensemen in killing penalties.
Cleveland stated his intention to uphold his pledge to the University of Wisconsin in an April interview with WAOW.
