PITTSBURGH, PA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers couldn’t hold a 7-4 lead going into the 8th inning last night as Pittsburgh brought in four runs over their final six outs to score an 8-7 win on Friday.
Carlos Santana capped off the game with a two-run home run for the Pirates to complete the comeback. He belted that off reliever Matt Bush, who was charged with both a loss and a blown save in the 9th inning.
Owen Miller recorded three hits in the loss including a double. Brice Turang had a double and two RBI.
Milwaukee jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and added three more runs in the 7th.
The Brewers fall to 43-39 with the loss. The same two teams will go at it again at 3:05 PM, pregame coverage on WSAU will begin at 2:30.
