Milwaukee’s pitcher Joel Payamps had a perfect 9th inning, his 2nd save after Milwaukee had a nine-run lead. Christian Yelich hit a 3-run homer in the 2nd, creating an opening for the Brewers. Pitsburg trailed by 9 before a six-run 8th that gave the team some momentum, but after a 34-minute rain delay, the Pirates weren’t able to rally.
