ST GERMAIN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 33-year-old woman died early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash into trees on State Highway 155 in Saint Germain.
According to a news release from the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office, the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday a car slammed into trees on State Highway 155 near South Lost Lake Drive.
Officers determined that the vehicle exited the roadway, missed a turn, and collided with trees. Brittany Johnston, 33, was killed in the accident. The vehicle had no other occupants.
The accident is still being investigated.
