MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Emerson Mandell, a four-star offensive lineman, committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday, according to his Twitter.
The four-star offensive lineman is the top-rated player in Minnesota, and the Badgers were competing against the Iowa State Cyclones and the Minnesota Gophers to earn Mandell’s commitment.

Mandell was a last-minute addition to the Badgers’ calendar; he booked an official visit during the week of June 12 to fit Wisconsin in between trips to Minnesota and Iowa State.
At 6’5″ and weighing 300 pounds, Mandell is well-suited to play along the inside at the next level. The Badgers are hoping to increase their depth on the offensive line to be ready in case some decide to go to the NFL after this season.
Mandell joins four-star cornerback Omillio Agard as the second Badgers commit in July and the 16th overall in the 2024 recruiting class.
