MILWAUKLEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) – Wade Miley and three others combined on a four-hitter as the Brewers blanked the Reds 1-0 at American Family Field.
Miley moved to 6-and-2 with the victory.
Jesse Winker singled in the lone run in the first inning for the Crew, who took two-of-three from the first-place Reds.
The Brewers are now just one game behind Cincinnati for the top spot in the NL Central heading into the All-Star break.
The Brewers are off the diamond until Friday for the All-Star break. Corbin Burnes and Devin Williams will represent the Crew in tomorrow’s MLB All-Star Game in Seattle. Williams, however, will not pitch. Burnes was added as an injury replacement on Saturday.
The Brewers will begin the second half in Cincinnati on Friday.
