MADISON, WI (WSAU) – According to Athletic Director Chris McIntosh, Wisconsin Badgers linebacker Jordan Turner has been reinstated following an internal investigation by a committee of university personnel.
The athletic department’s student-athlete discipline policy led to Turner’s initial ten-day suspension as a redshirt junior.
Following the announcement, the linebacker took to Twitter to announce that he had been detained for driving while intoxicated (OWI) and other traffic offenses.
Turner, who is expected to keep the starting job at linebacker with Maema Njongmeta last season, will attempt to return to practice immediately.
