VILLAGE OF BIRON, WI (WSAU) – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department has arrested four suspects in connection to a drug lab that was being operated in the village of Biron.
According to a press release, officers executed a search warrant on a property located at 31st Street North and Wolosek Ave on Wednesday morning, and drugs such as heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana were discovered and seized from the residence.
Those arrested include Mayta Montelongo (38), Gary Anderson (64), Eugene Kelly (46), and Tracy Stuntzner (55).
The department confirms that this was the fourth time that authorities have searched the property in the last year after the initial renter of the house was put in jail in 2022 for selling illegal drugs.
Some of the charges the suspect’s face include Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Residence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Authorities said in the press release that if needed, they will execute a fifth search warrant on the house if evidence suggests that illegal drugs continue to be made and sold at the property.
