COLOMA, WI (WSAU) — The Pallet Fire in Waushara County is now 100% contained.
According to a Thursday update from the DNR, firefighters have moved from containing the blaze to putting out hotspots, and all firefighters brought in from outside the area have been sent home.
The latest maps show that the fire burned about 730 acres and destroyed 19 buildings including 16 secondary structures. Investigators have determined that the cause of the fire was debris burning.
