TOWN OF BRIGHTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A track athlete at UW Stout died during a house party in the Town of Brighton last weekend.
WAOW TV reports that Lance Pfrimmer drowned during a house party. Witnesses say the 19-year-old had taken numerous trips down a homemade slide going into a pond on the property during the party.
At one point the partygoers noticed that they hadn’t seen Pfrimmer for some time, and they began searching for him. They found his body in the pond.
The incident is considered an accident and is not being investigated criminally. No charges have been filed in connection with Pfrimemr’s death.
Pfrimmer, a Rochester, Min. native, was friends with the property owner’s daughter, according to the official report. He was a sophomore majoring in engineering technology, and ran distance in track, according to his bio on UW-Stout’s website.
