STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Men’s Basketball team will open their season on November 1st in Madison.
That’s when the Pointers will take on the Badgers in UW’s annual exhibition game against one of the Division III UW system schools. The game is set for a 7 PM tip-off at the Kohl Center and will serve as a fundraiser for head coach Greg Gard’s Garding Against Cancer initiative.
The Badgers will also visit UWSP for an exhibition event on September 27th.

Regular season play for the Pointers begins November 11th when they host Lawrence University. Other highlights of the Pointer’s home schedule include a four-game homestand from December 12th through the 30th and the WIAC home opener on January 10th against UW Whitewater.
The road schedule features games spread out from Illinois to Indiana and Minnesota. UWSP will also visit former WIAC foe UW-Superior on Saturday, December 2nd.
The WIAC Tournament will take place over five days from February 20th through the 24th at locations to be determined.
