MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Michael Soroka held down the Milwaukee offense just enough to lift his Atlanta Braves to 6-4 win on Friday.
The Atlanta starter allowed four runs and six hits over six innings of work but his offense did more than enough to back him up. Austin Riley recorded two runs, two hits, and two RBI in the win including a home run. Orlando Arcia also homered for the Braves.
Milwaukee was led by two hits from William Contreras. Willy Adames homered in the loss.
Freddy Peralta allowed all six runs in his five innings of work. Bryse Wilson pitched three effective innings between the 6th and the 8th, but the offense couldn’t catch up.
The same two teams will play again tonight at 6:15 from American Family Field. Coverage on WSAU will begin at 5:40 PM.
