FOND du LAC, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The family of the late Ken Juedes released a brief statement on Friday following the death of the woman found guilty of killing Ken Juedes in 2006.
In an email to WAOW TV, Ken’s sister Laurie said, “Her death does nothing to alleviate the pain of the loss of my brother. Two deaths do not cancel each other out. They only double the pain. My condolences to Cindy’s family and friends for their loss.”
Schulz-Juedes was barely one year into her life sentence when she was found unresponsive in her cell on Wednesday. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead. The incident is being investigated as a homicide by both the Department of Corrections and the Fond du Lac police department.
No further details have been released including a cause of death.
Court records show Schulz-Juedes had recently filed an appeal of her conviction.
