WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – Former close friend of Hunter Biden Devon Archer is scheduled to testify before Congress regarding at least twenty calls Joe Biden, then-Vice President, made to his son while in meetings with foreign partners.
According to the New York Post, on June 12, Archer received a subpoena to appear before the House Oversight Committee to discuss the Biden family and his interactions with Hunter’s international business interests. The New York Post reports that he will testify this week.
Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer told The New York Post, “We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone.”
The report details how the First Son allegedly invited his father when he was Vice President to participate in Hunter’s meetings with foreign business contacts. When conducting business, Hunter would put his father on speakerphone.
One alleged instance is when Hunter pulled out his phone during a business dinner in Paris and put his father on speaker to wow potential investors.
Tony Bobulinski, another former business associate, remembers Hunter proposing to call his father at a meeting by the pool at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, according to The New York Post.
“I am also aware of other Biden family business associates confirming that Joe would take phone calls from Hunter in the middle of business meetings and would weigh in via speakerphone,” adds Bobulinski.
An official time and date for him to testify has not yet been scheduled.
