WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – The Republican-controlled House is moving closer to an impeachment investigation against President Joe Biden amid claims that he collected millions of dollars in bribes from foreign governments, according to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in an interview this week.
McCarthy’s comments follow an FBI-generated FD-1023 form released last week by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) which shows a confidential source informed the FBI that Burisma co-founder stated that he was “coerced” by the then-Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden into paying millions of dollars in bribes in exchange for their assistance in pressuring Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was looking into energy company Burisma.

“The FBI kept this from the IRS,” McCarthy told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “So, not only do they claim that they were bribed, we now find information that 16 out of 17 payments from Romania were provided to the Biden shell companies while he was vice president.”
This statement comes just days after Hunter Biden’s former friend, Devon Archer, a former director at Burisma, is scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee about how Hunter put then Vice President Biden on speaker phone over 20 times during meetings with foreign business partners.
