MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin Badger winter sports schedule continues to take shape with the WBB program announcing its non-conference slate for the upcoming year.
The Badgers will begin with an exhibition against UW-Whitewater on October 29th. The regular season tips off ten days later with a November 7th home date against UW-Milwaukee.
Wisconsin will also face South Dakota State and Western Illinois at home before heading to the Ft. Meyers Tip-off to face Arkansas and either Marquette or Boston College.
Additional home games in December include Butler on the 3rd and Eastern Illinois on the 21st. They’ll also travel to St. Thomas (MN) and K-State to round out non-conference play.
Wisconsin’s Big Ten opponents are known for the season and will include two games against Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers, and Purdue. They’ll play Illinois, Maryland, and Michigan just once (away). Solo home games include Indiana, Michigan State, and Nebraska.
