ATLANTA, GA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers got swept by the Braves following an 8-6 defeat in the series finale from Atlanta on Sunday.
Joel Payamps got the loss in relief after giving up the go ahead, two-run homer to Matt Olson in the eighth inning.
Christian Yelich and newly acquired Carlos Santana slugged back-to-back homers for Milwaukee, which fell to 57-and-49. The Brew Crew are now second in the NL Central and trail the Reds by half-a-game for first place.
The team is in DC to open a three-game series against the Nationals tonight. Pre game show at 5:30 on WSAU.
