WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — First Responders performed a water rescue near the Scott Street Bridge and Barker-Stewart Island early Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to the area near Bull Falls Park at 4:15 AM. The person was recovered and treated at the scene.
No update on their condition has been given, and officers haven’t disclosed their age or gender.
The incident occurred upstream from where another water rescue and recovery was performed last week. That incident resulted in the death of 55-year-old Tammy Miller and the recovery of one other individual, who was treated at the scene.
