Milwaukee Brewers
WASHINGTON DC (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Nationals won their series against the Brewers following a 3-2, walk-off victory in the finale from DC. Washington trailed 2-1 in the ninth inning until Alex Call grounded into a fielder’s choice, but Corey Dickerson and Ildemaro Vargas each scored on a throwing error by Milwaukee third baseman Andruw Monasterio.
Tyrone Taylor slugged a solo homer for Milwaukee, which dropped to 58-and-51.
The Brew Crew are second in the NL Central and will host the Pirates tonight. Game time is 5:40pm on WSAU.
