MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers blew out the Pittsburgh Pirates 14-1 in their series opener from Milwaukee.
Sal Frelick blasted a three-run homer and drove in five runs while Brice Turang also launched a three-run shot.
Adrian Houser got the win after pitching six innings of one-run ball.
Milwaukee improved to 59-and-51 and is now first in the NL Central. Game two of the four-game set takes place tonight.You can hear it on WSAU…pre game show at 6:35.
