MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Milwaukee’s first Republican presidential debate is less than two weeks away, and the frontrunner has not yet decided if he’ll show-up.
Former President Donald Trump’s campaign yesterday said a decision on the Milwaukee debate will likely come next week. Part of the hold-up is the required pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee.
Trump said in an interview that there are ‘three or four’ candidates running that he wouldn’t support. The former president also questioned why he needs to debate when he has such a large lead in the polls.
The debate is Wednesday, August 23rd.
