
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers are getting a pair of positive injury updates.
Rowdy Tellez has been rehabbing with the Nashville Sounds and is inching closer to a return. Positional players are allowed to rehab with a Triple-A ball club for no more than 20 days.
Also, Curt Hogg with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Jesse Winker is expected to join the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for a rehab assignment next week.
Tellez is hitting .212 with 12 homers and 36 RBI this season while Winker has a .199 batting average to go with one homer and 23 RBI.
