BONDUEL, WI. (WSAW-WSAU) – One person is dead, and another is hurt after a crash on Highway 29. The collision occurred on Sunday morning around 2:00 A.M.
The Sheriff’s office said a motorcyclist was driving in the wrong direction, on the eastbound lanes of the highway. The cyclist, who was A 28-year-old man died from the collision while the 51-year-old man, that drove the vehicle, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. The motorcyclist was believed to be wearing a helmet.
Traffic on 29 was detoured for several hours while crews investigated the crash.
The accident is still under investigation.
