GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) –The Packers were back on the practice field on Monday.
Bill Huber shared his observations from the team’s 12th training camp practice yesterday and said rookie kicker Anders Carlson missed another extra point inside the Don Hutson Center. Carlson missed two extra points during the preseason opener against the Bengals.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love went 8-of-12 passing with one interception. Seventh-round pick Carrington Valentine picked off Love on the last play of practice when the offense was approaching scoring position.
Meanwhile, the Packers are considering several players for training camp deals. NFL Insider Aaron Wilson reports five players worked out for the team yesterday including three offensive linemen.
Adrian Ealy, Trevor Reid and BJ Wilson tried out on the line while cornerback Zane Lewis and receiver Keytaon Thompson also worked out with the team. Green Bay suffered injuries to offensive linemen Luke Tenuta and Caleb Jones during its preseason opener against the Bengals.
Green Bay hosts the Patriots for joint practice tomorrow.
