WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Woodson YMCA in Wausau has announced a membership rate increase effective October 1st.
President and CEO Brian Bailey says all rates will go up by $2 per month, saying the move is “driven by the need to be more competitive with wages, maintain facilities, and offer all of the programs and amenities that we do for our members.”
The new monthly membership rates will now range from $34 for a single person aged 18-24 to $53 for a single adult. A household membership will cost $75 per month.
Senior and youth membership rates will also increase.
The increase was announced on Monday in an email to members.
