Trustees in Kronenwetter will meet Monday night to conduct another round of interviews for the Village Administrator position.
According to Monday’s agenda, the interviews will be in closed session. It’s unclear how many interviews will be conducted, or if the Board will make a decision at the end of the meeting.
The Village has been without a full-time administrator since the summer of 2022 when they parted ways with Richard Downey. Duane Gau held the position for several months before stepping away for family reasons. Police Chief Terry McHugh slid into the role on a couple of occasions, and former Plover Administrator Dan Mahoney also filled the void on a part-time basis this summer.
Kim Manly is the current interim Administrator.
Trustees did submit an offer to one candidate back in June, but that was pulled back due to issues with their background check.
