MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers claimed their series against the Marlins following a 4-2 victory in the finale at American Family Field.
Adrian Houser earned the win after surrendering two runs and striking out five batters over five innings. Devin Williams notched his 34th save of the season with a clean ninth inning while Tyrone Taylor drove in a pair of runs to lead the offense.
Milwaukee added to their lead over the Cubs in the NL Central. They are now up by 4 1/2 games and will open a three-game set against the Washington Nationals in Milwaukee tonight. Pre game show at 6:35.
