EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (WSAU) — New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking the first steps towards recovery after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Yesterday, Rodgers announced he’d had a successful surgery and posted a photo of himself smiling from a hospital bed. He also thanked the medical team taking care of him.
Rodgers tore his Achilles in Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. After the accident, he said he was “completely heartbroken” but has vowed to “rise yet again.”
