There’s no other way to put it – John Fetterman is an embarrassment to America.
Instead of addressing the unfortunate wardrobe choices of Senator Hoodie, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has changed the dress code that requires legislators to wear professional attire on the Senate floor.
For many reasons, Fetterman cannot be taken seriously, the least of which are his hoodies. If a United States Senator is not held to certain simple standards, why should anyone be held accountable for their actions?
Imagine if this were a Republican. We’d never hear the end of it by the leftists. And so it seems, only Republicans are held to a higher standard in Washington.
Schumer directed the Senate’s sergeant at arms to stop enforcing the dress code that mandates male senators wear a jacket and tie and female senators a dress or other businesswear on the floor. The change in policy comes after Fetterman was bashed by conservatives for wearing a hoodie, gym shorts and sneakers to the chamber. Many called his obvious lack of decorum disrespectful.
His unwillingness to wear clothing that is conducive to this position further illuminates how unfit he is to serve in the United States Senate. Even the bumbling bozo Bernie Sanders throws on a suit when he’s on the floor, albiet I’m sure – covered in cat hairs and stained with his own spittle.
What’s the matter with Democrats in Pennsylvania? It’s like they voted for an even more stupid version of Minnesota’s Jesse the Body.
Fetterman reminds me of the slobs that camped out in the Capitol during the 2010 Act 10 protests in Madison, turning it into a pig sty.
“John Fetterman’s attire in the Senate perfectly summarizes Democrats lack of respect for Americans and our institutions,” tweeted conservative comedian Tim Young.
Naturally, Democrats scramble to defend his lack of decorum. “He’s setting a new dress code,” stated Vermont Democrat Senator Peter Welch.
“Senators are able to choose what they wear on the Senate floor,” Schumer said in a statement. “I will continue to wear a suit.”
How far will Democrats go?
