GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Following a tough loss for the Packers in Atlanta, PFF has released their Packers grades from week 2.
Jayden Reed had the highest mark on the squad (82.9) after catching four receptions and scoring two touchdowns on only 18 routes run. Fellow rookie receiver Dontayvion Wicks got the team’s second-highest grade (74.8) following two catches, with one going for a touchdown.
Other notable players on offense with high grades include center Josh Myers (67.3), running back AJ Dillon (66.9), and tight end Luke Musgrave (66.2). Quarterback Jordan Love was given a (59.3) after being credited with one “big-time throw” and one “turnover-worthy play.” However, off play-action, Love was 7-of-10 passing for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, Quay Walker had yet another big week, scoring 72.3 after recording 11 solo tackles and another eight assisted tackles, along with four QB pressures. Pass rusher Justin Hollins scored the defense’s second-highest grade with a 72.2, which was the team’s best overall run grade from Sunday.
When it comes to the team’s worst grades from Sunday, rookie defensive lineman Colby Wooden had the lowest grade overall scoring (36.9) due to his struggles against the run on 36 snaps played. Tight end Josiah Deguara had the lowest score from the offensive side of the ball and the second-lowest overall with a (41.5) and was the team’s lowest-graded pass and run blocker.
Other notable players who struggled on Sunday included Devonte Wyatt (45.4), who did have three quarterback hurries but also struggled against the run. Rookie receiver Malik Heath (51.7) didn’t have a catch on 10 routes ran and safety Darnell Savage (50.7) missed two key tackles.
