PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU) — Human remains discovered in 2022 in the Village of Port Edwards have been identified.
A news release from the Wood County Sheriff confirms that the skeletal remains belonged to Paul I. Christian. Investigators say a DNA sample of the remains analyzed by a forensic lab in Texas led to a DNA match. Officers then met with Christian’s family, who confirmed that he had been missing for “several years.”
Christian would have been 49 years old today.
