WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A portion of US Highway 51 was closed near County Road WW overnight.
Officers closed the intersection at about 10 PM. Traffic was rerouted to County Road WW and W then to Highway 64. The highway was re-opened at about 1:45 AM.
Sheriff’s officers were dealing with an unspecified incident, more information on what led to the shutdown is expected later this weekend.
