UNDATED (WSAU) — The National League Division Series continued on Monday. The Arizona Diamondbacks moved within one win of their first NLCS appearance since 2007 with a 4-2 takedown of the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
The D’backs scored three runs in the top of the first and starting pitcher Zac Gallen put together five strong frames of work to help Arizona take a 2-0 series lead back to Phoenix.
In Atlanta, Austin Riley hit a two-run shot to propel the Braves to a 5-4 comeback win over the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park. The Braves tied the series at one game apiece with Game Three in Philly set for Wednesday.
In ALDS action, the Houston Astros visit the Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles visit the Texas Rangers today. The Rangers are up on the O’s 2-0, while the Astros and Twins are tied at 1-1.
