UNDATED- (WSAU) — The American League Division Series continued on Tuesday.
The Texas Rangers completed a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles with a 7-1 victory in Game Three of the ALDS at Globe Life Field. Adolis Garcia, Nathaniel Lowe and Corey Seager homered to help Texas advance to its first AL Championship Series appearance since 2011.
In Minnesota, the Houston Astros took a 2-1 series lead with a 9-1 takedown of the Twins at Target Field. Jose Abreu belted two homers and totaled five RBI to lead the Astros to victory. Game Four will take place on Wednesday.
In the NLDS, the Atlanta Braves visit the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. The D’backs are up on the Dodgers 2-0, while the Braves and Phillies are tied at 1-1.
