MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A bomb threat has forced Marshfield High School to dismiss early on Friday, the district’s superintendent announced in an email.
Ryan Christianson, the school’s superintendent, reported that “MHS Administration was made aware of some messages in two separate girls’ bathrooms at the high school, referencing a bomb at 1:00 p.m.”
He added that they have contacted Marshfield Police to look into the threat. While the investigation is ongoing, there is no evidence to imply that the high school building is in any immediate jeopardy.
