Wisconsin Badagers
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN (WSAU) — The 14th ranked Wisconsin mens hockey team pulled off a 5-2 upset over the #1 ranked Minnesota Gophers on Thursday night.
Mathieu De St. Phalle and Cruz Lucius had two goals each. Carson Bantle had the other tally for Wisconsin. Ben Dexheimer had three assists.
Kyle McClellan had 22 saves.
The Badgers are 6-1-0, the best start since 2000-01, and will play at Minnesota again tonight. Pre game show at 7:30 pm.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team plays tonight and Saturday at St. Thomas.
