A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 6th.
Green is accused of tailgating another vehicle as the two were driving north on US 51 on the evening of October 6th. According to the victim Green had been slowing down and speeding up, allowing their vehicle to pass and then tailgating. Green is then accused of driving alongside the victims and shooting twice into their vehicle.
One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Green then led authorities on a chase that extended back into the Wausau area where he was finally arrested after a Lincoln County deputy disabled his vehicle.
Authorities say the victims were a family of five. It’s unclear if they had any prior connection to Green.
