MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — An unidentified Tomahawk man was arrested last week after officers conducted a routine traffic stop that ended in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant.
Officers attempted to pull the 24-year-old driver over for minor traffic violations. The driver kept going and pulled into the parking lot of a KFC/Taco Bell and went inside.
The officer gave the man a command to stop. The man did return to his car and was detained by the officer, then arrested for outstanding warrants.
The man now faces additional charges of possession of marijuana and other traffic violations.
