MADISON, WI (WSAU) – When the Wisconsin Badgers host the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday, they will have 2025 four-star forward E.J. Walker back for an unofficial visit, according to Stockrisers’ Jake Weingarten.
Walker, a 6’8, 220-pound forward from Kentucky, has received 22 offers thus far, from Big Ten schools like Wisconsin, Purdue, Ohio State, and Minnesota.
After receiving an offer from head coach Greg Gard on May 2, 2023, Walker made his first trip to Madison in June.
Along with his unofficial visits to Wisconsin, the forward has also made two unofficial trips to Minnesota; more visits to other D-1 schools are likely over the next year.
The Wisconsin Badgers lost a top 2024 four-star recruit when 7’3 center Daniel Jacobsen committed to the Purdue Boilermakers earlier this month.
In August, Zach Kinziger, a three-star shooting guard in 2025, committed to Wisconsin. The team has extended offers to nine players in the class, most of whom are from Wisconsin.
