RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Marathon County Crimestoppers is asking for the public’s help after a series of thefts at Wal-Mart in Rib Mountain.
WAOW TV reports two people, a man and a woman, are suspected of filling their shopping carts and then walking out of the store without paying for their items.
Security camera footage captured the two leaving the store. It’s unclear what specific items they made off with, or how much the items are worth.
If you recognize the suspects you’re asked to submit a tip to Marathon County Crimestoppers at 1-877-409-8777 or through their website. Tips can also be submitted through the P3 app for smartphones and tablets.
Investigators say crimes like this drive up the cost of merchandise for everyone.
